The Danny Fund (Fall Fling Contribution Page)

Danny Starobin and Dan Brown were two stalwarts of the Fall Fling and Spring Thing. Dan Ruvin was a founder. When Danny Starobin died his friends took up a collection to form a fund to enable Thingers and Flingers who would have been unable to attend the events but whose contributions to past events and to the Society were significant, to attend at a reduced rate, a Danny Scholarship. Named for all three Dannys, the fund has continued for over 20 years.

In folkie tradition, the Philadelphia Folksong Society invites you to aid your less fortunate fellow folkies by making a fully tax-deductable donation to Fall Fling to support scholarships for our folk friends in need. It is the mission of the Philadelphia Folksong Society to make our music and community as accessible as possible. We cannot thank you enough for your continued support!
